Apple iPhone 8GB Smartphone

cool design

Puntos Fuertes: safari, awesome screen, wifi

Puntos Débiles: Can't copy contacts from SIM, battery

So I've been playing with my iphone since last week, and here's what I've found so far: WiFi works great - no problems connecting or switching between networks - and very fast EDGE is not so bad - EDGE is all I can get at work, and its not nearly as slow as I thought it might be. The pages I've looked up all opened within a few seconds - definitely no 2 minute waits so far (as had been mentioned...

Iphone is Awesome

Puntos Fuertes: Great web browsing features, friends love it

Puntos Débiles: at&t, no video capture, complicated to unlock yourself if you're not planning to use at&t.

Took me a few days of googling to hack this phone to work with t-mobile. It comes with 1.1.1 OS out of the box now. So I downgraded to 1.02 OS and used iphonesimfree.com to unlock it. News has it that a new "free" sim unlock is coming out soon from anysim. I paid $59 to unlock it. Anyways I couldn't wait for the free unlock.

iPhone 8GB

Puntos Fuertes: Sleek design, excellent user interface

Puntos Débiles: None so far. It would be perfect if it had built-in GPS receiver.

I bought the 8GB iPhone when its price came down to $399. It has 7.3GB left for storage (music, etc). So that's more than my 1st generation 4GB Nano. The iPhone is a full featured PDA phone. The user interface is simply amazing. Its touch keyboard is a little bit slower than hardware keyboard on my Dash, but works fine most of the time (I have small fingers). The only thing missing is built-in...

Excellent device limited by some extent by Apple

Puntos Fuertes: Excellent interface, best web browser ever on a phone, easy to use, great iPod

Puntos Débiles: EDGE network, 3rd party apps not allowed by Apple, no VOIP client, mail auto-check can be unreliable, no iChat

I have used this phone since July and love it. It brings so many features together into one device. The keyboard is great, although it does take some getting used to. The web browser is by far the best browser ever on a mobile phone. The interface is excellent, so easy to use. There are some small problems with the device. Firstly, use of the EDGE network instead of 3G. This wouldn't be too bad...

Awesome Phone!!

Puntos Fuertes: Beautiful Design, Cool interface, great ipod, great phone.

Puntos Débiles: Edge network a little slow. Needs more native applications.

By far the best phone I've ever had. Very intuitive interface, great email and internet functionality. The ipod interface is the best yet. The EDGE network is a bit slow compared to today's standards, but what can you say to a 20 dollar unlimited date plan. Bottomline, this phone isn't for the businessman, its a hip/cool phone with some business functionality, but lets face it, it's built to be...

iPhone 8GB Smartphone (GSM, Bluetooth, 2MP, 8GB)

Puntos Fuertes: Very reliable operating system. Many functions can be added.

Puntos Débiles: Slow connection due to lack of 3G. No business account holders support.

This is one of the greatest phone I have used. It is unfortunate that the system only allows ATT. It would sell a whole lot if ATT allows business accounts as well. Other than that, this is the phone which will change them all.

Just about everything expected

Puntos Fuertes: Screen, integration with OS X and Windows, size

Puntos Débiles: Chrome bezel, integrated battery etc, some features not present out of the box, contract

I've never seen a gadget with this much hype. However, for the most part it lives up to expectations. First, the problems. I'm running 1.1.1 and was on 1.0.2. I'll assume users are on 1.1.1. The chrome bezel scratches easily, as badly as the iPod's back of years past. There is no wireless sync support (not even contacts and appointments). This basically relegates Bluetooth to the headset. Also,...

Best phone in the market

Puntos Fuertes: Touch screen operation, full web browser, iPod touch included, WIFI, 3rd party APPs to come

Puntos Débiles: No Java, no real GPS, headphone jack not compatible with most high-end phones

iPhone is arguably the best phone in the market, the feature set is solid - SMS chat, a full web browser, google maps, WIFI connectivity. the touch screen is fantastic, full colored (16m), bright. the most impressive thing is the multi-touch feature, you can zoom, a web page/picture in a breeze. I'm fascinated by how accurate the touch can be pinned on the screen, i.e. when I am typing with the...

Apple iPhone - 8GB

Puntos Fuertes: Browser, Large Screen, E-mail, Multi-touch

Puntos Débiles: Typing, No-3g, no removable Battery, 8gb Only

The phone of course look lovely, the browser features are amazing as well as the mail client. Though the lack of iChat, as well as 3g was a disappointment. What i really dont like is the keyboard. It rarely gets the input right as well as fixing it, it does fix some but not as good as it should be. The biggest downside is surely the typing. Also 8gb is not enough, and edge is not good enough to...

Apple iPhone - 8GB (AT&T)

THE GOOD: The Apple iPhone has a stunning display, a sleek design, and an innovative multitouch user interface. Its Safari browser makes for a superb Web surfing experience, and it offers easy-to-use apps. As an iPod, it shines. THE BAD: The Apple iPhone has variable call quality and lacks some basic features found in many cell phones, including stereo Bluetooth support and 3G compatibility....

Apple iPhone

It's better than you think. The near-seamless slab of glass and metal that is Apple's iPhone has more preconceived-notion-shattering surprises than any piece of technology since, well, the iPod. A mind-blowing touchscreen experience, the best browser on any smart phone, blazing performance that puts Windows Mobile devices to shame. It's all here. So why are we left wanting more?
